Men Can“Squirt”Too — Do You Know? Don't Be Left Behind!
Can men actually squirt like women? The answer is yes!
In 2018, Kawasaki Medical School in Japan conducted a study called “Color Doppler Ultrasound Examination of Male Squirting.” The research was simple: it involved manually stimulating the genitals until ejaculation, then continuing to stimulate the glans while maintaining an erection. The results showed that about 20 seconds after normal ejaculation, squirting occurred.
Color Doppler ultrasound revealed that the fluid came from the bladder, passing through the prostatic urethra and then being expelled. So yes, the squirted fluid is urine. The study compared the fluid with urine and found that both had the same pH, ketone, and urobilinogen levels.

How does this happen? Normally, the urethral sphincter is closed during ejaculation. That's correct — it is closed during ejaculation. However, if stimulation continues after ejaculation while maintaining an erection, the prostatic urethra expands about 20 seconds later, and urine is expelled from the bladder.
After ejaculation, the prostate and pelvic muscles have passed their contraction phase, so the urethral sphincter relaxes, allowing urine to flow from the bladder into the prostatic urethra and out. This is similar in principle to female squirting. Not every man can experience this — it requires specific stimulation and physical conditions, so don't over-romanticize it.

If you are curious, here's how to achieve male squirting more efficiently. The four-step technique for male squirting:
Definition: Male squirting is when, after ejaculation, fluid can be expelled through the prostate and urethra again. Here's how men can better achieve this:
Step 1:
Abstain from sex for at least 3–5 days. Why?
Male squirting essentially requires a second erection. If it's shortly after intercourse, the sexual refractory period isn't over, and men may experience post-ejaculation flaccidity and inability to achieve a second erection. Low sexual arousal or slow response to stimulation can make it difficult for the pelvic muscles to expel fluid. Abstinence helps maintain sexual function. When fully ready, lie down immediately after ejaculation to proceed to Step 2.

Step 2:
Do not immediately stimulate the genitals, such as the glans, as this can cause discomfort. According to Kawasaki Medical School, immediately stimulating the genitals, scrotum, or perianal area while maintaining a semi-erect penis is key. Instead, lie down and start by stimulating the testicles and the perineum (between testicles and anus). These are sensitive male areas, especially the perianal region near the prostate. Proper stimulation relaxes the prostate smooth muscle, aiding squirting. For the testicles, use circular rubbing; for the perianal area, use finger circular strokes; for the perineum, gentle blowing and light touch work best. While completing Step 2, move to Step 3.

Step 3:
After a man ejaculates, when the soreness of the penis gradually fades and the stimulation sensation around the perianal area and testicles begins to stir, at this time, half-wrap the glans with your palm and use the fingertips and the skin mucosa of the palm to gently roll-stimulate the glans and the coronal sulcus. If urethral sensitivity is high, you can also stimulate the urethral opening simultaneously while stimulating the coronal sulcus.
At this point, under the multiple stimulations of the testicles, perineum, perianal area, and glans, the penis has basically entered a second erection. Some people might ask, “How can I perform so many stimulations with just one hand?”

First, I suggest that men experience squirting ideally under female stimulation. In other words, it's best to have your dear girlfriend perform these actions, because after you ejaculate, a woman's caressing can relax the pelvic floor muscles and urethral sphincter. If, after your ejaculation, the woman also reaches orgasm and then stimulates you, the effect of her sex hormone levels in her body will show an extremely gentle aspect — let's temporarily call this the maternal state. In this situation, the touch and stimulation she gives you will help you relax even more.
If you don't have a girlfriend, it's possible to do it yourself, but you need to have good emotional balance and situational control. If doing it alone, try to use both hands simultaneously, and you can even make use of a vibrator.
Step 4:
The fourth step is very crucial. Based on the third step, after the penis and pelvic floor muscles have received proper stimulation and reached a second erection, gently and slowly stretch the pelvic floor muscles. Remember, it is stretching the pelvic floor muscles, not contracting them. Essentially, after the second erection, you are building up the urge to urinate. While building this urge, continue stimulating the sensitive areas mentioned above.
There are two key points about building the urge to urinate:
a.The bladder must contain urine. Therefore, it is recommended that before intercourse and ejaculation, the bladder already contains urine. How much urine is appropriate? The answer is: the more, the better. Of course, this should not harm the bladder, because the more urine present, the lower the resistance of the urethral sphincter, making squirting easier to trigger.

b.When building the urge to urinate, perform slow and deliberate urination-like actions. It is best to apply gentle pressure on the abdomen to gradually contract the bladder detrusor muscle. During the fourth step, stimulation from steps two and three must not stop; steps two, three, and four must be performed simultaneously. This is because only under the premise of the penis being in a second erection, with sexual arousal faintly present, and maintaining pre-ejaculation pleasure, combined with urethral sphincter relaxation and the contraction of the prostate smooth muscle, seminal vesicles, and ejaculatory ducts, can squirting ultimately occur.
A reminder: the urge to urinate should not be forced too strongly; otherwise, it becomes normal urination, which is not squirting.
Summary:
Male squirting is essentially similar to urinary incontinence, so health risks must be considered. Avoid forced retention, retrograde ejaculation, or urethral sphincter dysfunction. Like female squirting, not all men have the innate or acquired conditions to experience it.
